Abolishing of Misconception of milaad. Every year on occasion of the Prophet’s Birth some questions were put forward: Meelad not practiced or arranged by the Prophet or any of his companions (Sahaba) nor they thought Tabiyeen because there is no proof from Quran or Hadith to do so.
Dear readers! I am extremely ashamed that I am going to give answer those who affirm and profess; we are believers and Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him), behind rejoicing on the birth of the Prophet and celebrating.
The Concept of Meelad:
At first you must have known the concept of Meelad. The celebration of the Birthday of the Noble Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) is in fact such an occasion of happiness on which people assemble and pray to Allah and praise him for guiding to the straight path by sending the Prophet. (Peace and blessings be upon him) The Scholars share prophetic and divine teachings and relate the prophecies concerning the appearance of the Noble Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) that have been transmitted in Ahadith and Athar, and the miraculous events and signs that took place on his birth among people. Some of them fast (Roza) out and then food is set before people and according to their desire they partake. And some procession and wave flags with slogans of Tauheed and Risalat.
So please ponder! What the Concept of Meelad simple and clear is! But adversaries of Prophet’s dignity and glory intentionally or unconsciously complicated it’s clarification while If any proof is not brought forth still it is obvious to everyone that these activities cannot be unlawful or forbidden in the light of Quran or Hadith. Tell me who dare to prevent from worshiping, reciting the Holy Quran or Holy Durood upon The Prophet, stating the biography of the Prophet like his birth, childhood, youth, Nubuwwah, Mojaza, rejoicing on his coming to the world, reminding people the Prophet’s mission, vision and purpose in coming on occasion of his birthday barring astray and disbeliever.
Arguably it is false to say there is no proof for celebrating day of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him). If anyone doesn’t have prejudice and narrow mindedness then it is very easy to grip and comprehend issue of Milad-un-Nabi. Because the Prophet (Peace be upon him) himself had celebrated the day of his birth as proven from Sahih above all, Almighty Allah Himself termed the “days of prophetic births as days of peace” And all Muslims of the world kept celebrate meelad. Because Root (ASAL) for it is proven from Quran and Hadith and Sahaba.
